Hopefully, the video is working on my site so you don't have to go searching for it. It had been 5 years since I last heard this song; then iTunes pulled it randomly from my collection. I then listened to it about 10 times.

Thanks for the visit.

What a breathe of fresh air! When I listen to God, I am blessed; when I don't, I sorely wish I had listened to Him. Now I've got to listen to that song again. Beautiful. You're right. So relaxing to sit and at times close my eyes as I meditated on God. Opened it sometimes though because of the beautiful images of creation.
My recent post <a href="http://thewritelife2.wordpress.com/2010/11/11/the-phone-calls-are-different-now/" rel="nofollow">The Phone Calls Are Different Now</a>

"Guilt is a pain in the soul that tells us that something is wrong and needs to be fixed."

It's hard to face our wrongs when we think God will punish us, but when we focus on the Grace God has for us, I find I'm free to confess my faults. I used to focus more on my confession -- which made me feel more guilt -- but, now my outstanding prayer is to understand more of God's grace -- which always leads me to repentence. As your posts shows eloquently, guilt is universal -- and so is God's offer of grace.

Thanks for the great line up of examples from the Word you've added to the jam, Mike!

Clearly communicated truth, here.
Guilt has lingered a bit a too long over the years in my life. Desiring to be free sent me into the place of God's Grace!

I love this: "So here we are – the pursuit of happiness or the possession of Joy. I believe there is a difference in the very nature of these two concepts. If Joy is the goal, then we will not be satisfied with the happy little piles of mud but we will take the journey to the seashore with our Master and find that He has an entire horizon of Joy waiting for us." I want the "entire horizon of joy!" Thank you for drawing the distinction!
